The suppressed results of the "largest vaccinated vs. unvaccinated birth cohort study1 ever conducted in the United States" were shared in a Senate Hearing on September 9, 2025. The study, conducted by the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI., was commissioned in order to prove to the public how effective childhood vaccines were, and thus to stem the tide of increasing vaccine hesitancy being observed among parents. It spanned a period of 10 years, looking at medical records of children.
Unfortunately, the results of this research were in direct opposition to the stated goals, and was never published. The reasons for burying the findings included fear of reprisals from the medical community.

1 Cohort Study An observational study in which a defined group of people (a cohort) is followed over time and outcomes are compared in subsets of the cohort who were exposed, not exposed, or exposed at different levels to an intervention or other factor of interest. Cohorts can be assembled in the present and followed into the future (a “concurrent cohort study”), or identified from past records and followed from that time up to the present (an “historical cohort study”). Because random allocation is not used, matching or statistical adjustment must be used to ensure that the comparison groups are as similar as possible.
