This study largely compared the effect of Thimerosal-containing hepatitis B vaccines to "Thimerosal-reduced" versions.
However, also noted in the study: "It was revealed that the exposed group receiving three doses of infant Thimerosal-containing hepatitis B vaccine in comparison to its contemporaneous unexposed group receiving no doses of hepatitis B vaccine was at a more than nine-fold significantly higher risk of adverse effects"
