Golf Courses

Golf courses are some of the most toxic areas your are likely to encounter in your environment normally. Despite the beauty and feeling of nature, the amount of pesticides and other chemicals required to artificially keep up the pristine appearance has a huge impact on your health.
For example, a study published in the medical journal Neurology in May of 2025 finds a significantly increased risk of Parkinson's Disease in people who live within one to three miles of a golf course, or if their water supply may be contaminated by runoff from the surface of the course as may be the case with municipal water systems.
It is reasonable to assume that other neuro-degenerative disease rates may be impacted as well, and undoubtedly future studies will be done to verify this.
