Chorioamnionitis

Chorioamnionitis is a dangerous bacteria infection of the baby's amniotic sac during pregnancy. It can cause a number of complications that can lead to fetal death.

This study examines the risks of the TDaP vaccine, which contains weaker Diphtheria and Pertussis components, and is usually given as a booster from age 11 through adulthood.

Findings: This study suggests that the TDaP vaccine may increase the risk of Chorioamnionitis.
