Treatments
Here are some of the things that are known to help protect you from viruses and other respiratory infections, in general:
- Common sense anti-influenza measures such as hand washing after being in public is recommended.
- Sunshine and fresh air. Avoid being in crowded, enclosed spaces for long periods of time.
- Vitamins D3 and C, zinc, and selenium. Especially if you are deficient in any of those, which many people are.
- It should go without saying, but things like ensuring a good general nutrition level, freedom from nervous system interference, and lowered stress levels all have major parts to play.
Specific COVID treatments that many physicians have found helpful, presented here for you to research for your particular situation.
- Hydroxychloroquine has gained a lot of notariety early on for its large base of support among doctors. Some doctors combine it with zinc supplementation and an antibiotic such as Azithromycin.
- Tonic Water containing quinine is related to HCQ and may be helpful early on.
- Ivermectin has become a favorite for many who say that it works even better than HCQ.
In general, the earlier treatment starts, the better the results. However, some dramatic recoveries have been seen even in advanced cases using some of these treatments as part of the regimen.
Intubation (i.e., ventilators) has some serious detractors who say it can cause more harm than good in COVID-19 cases.
