Crop Growth

Crops will advance to the next stage at approximately midnight each day. We have installed a mod that keeps this timetable stable, even through server restarts. This means that you can plant and harvest crops every six days, if desired.

We have tested using bee hives on farms, and it's unclear if they make a difference during the six days from planting to harvest. However, it seems that they can make a huge increase in crop yields in fields that are left idle some time after that period, for crops that are within about 8 tiles' distance.

Unharvested crops will stay harvestable forever.
