Other Outcomes
While resistance to disarmament led to the American Revolutionary war with its own strife and bloodshed, recent history has shown that other societies, once they lost their guns, have fared far worse.
It is interesting to note that many of the murderous dictators who killed millions of their own people did not need to confiscate weapons; they were merely opportunists who seized control from a previous, well-intentioned government that did that for them.
