Opening a Project

There are two ways to open a project:

  1. Use the Project→OpenCreate Project menu option:
  2. This opens up a file navigator, from which you can go to the folder that contains/will contain your project:

A SiteLinker project is specific to the directory where the site's source files are located. Thus, to open up an existing or new project, simply select the desired directory. If a file named SLProject.cfg is found, the project will be opened. If no such file exists, you will be asked if you wish to create a new project. Creating a new project will install a number of basic files used to create a default project, upon which you can build your pages.

  3. Reopen an existing project from the Project→Recent Projects menu item.
  4. This will present you with a list of your recent projects. Just select one, and it will open for you.
