Contribution Culling
There is one setting that you should change in order to see small lights like buoys, that will greatly help you when navigating waterways.
Go to the Adv. Graphics tab and scroll down to the Contribution Culling option:
This setting is used to increase performance by not displaying small points of light that are far away. Unless your PC is very slow, you should ensure that this option is NOT checked.
