Alternate Information Sources

In today's cyberworld, more than ever before, you must access multiple sources of information if you want to have a chance to obtain an impression that even approaches reality.

In past, when news agencies were the only source of current events, the population's access to news was controlled by simply omitting undesired information. Now, with electronic communication, the internet, and the ease of accessing reports and videos from the general population, those who would control the narrative must also resort to false information (a.k.a. "fake news") and actively discrediting opposing reports.

The giant mass media outlets have also teamed up with big tech corporations (Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and government agencies to filter out unapproved information from all major sources, and are increasingly finding ways to sabatoge independent journalists' efforts to elude the censorship.

On these pages you will find a number of alternatives that, for the most part, still support the concept of free speech.
